The bid, the score, the current trick, and your next action should be easy to understand. Everything else needs a good reason to occupy the screen.
Our design target is the rhythm of a satisfying card game: read the situation, make the decision, watch it unfold, and quietly reconsider how confident you sounded earlier.
The cards should provide the suspense. Finding the right button should not.
