FOUR OF HEARTS · THE CARD TABLE

Hearts

Read the room. Dodge the points.

Four players, no partners, and thirteen cards that can make a very good hand look suspicious. Pass carefully, follow the play, and keep an eye on the queen of spades.

HOW IT PLAYS

A few rules. A table full of possibilities.

01

Pass three

Pass left, right, across, then hold on the next hand. Decide what to keep—and what trouble to send away.

02

Follow the suit

Follow the led suit when you can. Hearts cannot lead until broken, unless that is all you have.

03

Stay low—or shoot the moon

Each heart is one point; the queen of spades is thirteen. Taking all 26 points turns the hand around. Lowest total wins.

THE PEOPLE AT THE TABLE

Every seat changes the game.

Hearts is built around four people reading the same table. The current app offers complete games with three bots. Simple online seating is being developed so more people can share the table; public multiplayer is not yet available.

WHAT CARRIES FORWARD

The score has a story.

Scores carry between hands during a local match. Closing the app ends the saved continuity of a bot match; it does not resume after restart. Durable online rankings and cross-device score history are not available.

Current availability

App in internal testing. Explore the real table and learn the rules here while the app develops.

THE WORKSHOP · Hearts

From the developers

What we’re building, what we’re improving, and what made us laugh.

Design direction

The design brief is to keep that drama at the table: readable hands, understandable turns, and enough visual clarity to follow what is happening without wrestling the screen.

Availability: App visuals and rules available; app remains in internal testing.
