September 12: careful engineering in practice

Published September 12, 2026. Recent work focused on how the apps behave when you actually use them: changing a setting, returning to a game, refreshing information, or saving something you made.

A battle at your pace

Evil Doom Boy’s development build now offers 0.5×, 1×, 2×, and 4× battle speed. Changing speed while paused keeps the battle paused. The controls and combat behavior were checked in the browser and on a Samsung phone.

A refresh that finishes

Sleep Amigo received fixes for refresh completion and an unnecessary write that could leave a finished refresh waiting. Repeated refreshes and a process restart passed on the tested Samsung. Broader device and provider testing remains to be done.

The details deserve attention

The same audit addressed card-game timing and controls, Princess Land room-photo readiness, and Unicorn Land photo and landscape-entry issues. These were focused development checks—not certification that every app or feature is ready for release.
