Press Ahead: a little head start.

A new expedition-inspired match-three game, with a name we could not possibly leave alone.

Work described: Private 0.2.0 developer-test build checkpoint; physical-phone and live sign-in/cloud checks remain incomplete.

On the workbench

Press Ahead is a new, separate match-three game in development, inspired by the Lewis and Clark expedition. It uses the Unicorn Blast project as its technical foundation; Unicorn Blast remains its own game.

The name comes with a small invitation: “press a head” and move ahead. We are trying to keep the wordplay under control. It has already packed a bag.

The private 0.2.0 developer-test candidate has 400 existing authored boards and 670 passing automated source tests. A standalone Android test package has been built and checked. Physical-phone testing and live sign-in/cloud checks still need their turn, and the newer recipe revision is not fully verified. This is progress from the workbench, not a public launch. We have plenty of trail ahead and a sensible amount of enthusiasm.
